Rude journée au bureau pour les 2 représentants de Norco Bicycles/Premier Tech au GP IGA de Ste-Martine. Difficile avec des effectifs aussi réduits de faire face aux grosses équipes comme Garneau et Ekoi. Étienne Samson et David Fugère ont tout de même tout tenté, récoltant finalement une 16e position.

Sur les 10 tours du parcours de 10,5 km, pour un total de 104 km, les gars ont été actifs au sein du peloton, essayant de prendre la bonne échappée. Malgré une vitesse moyenne de 43 km/h, la course a vu plusieurs échappées se former.

Dès le premier tour, Étienne a réussi à se joindre à une dangereuse échappée, malheureusement reprise un peu plus tard. La bonne échappée est finalement partie au 4e tour.

En fin de course, Étienne a travaillé pour son coéquipier, afin de préparer le sprint. David s’est bien tiré d’affaire avec une 16e place. Suivi de près par Étienne, ayant une fois de plus réalisé une belle journée de travail.

Hard day in Ste-Martine

It was a tough race for the two riders of the team Norco Bicycles/Premier Tech at the GP IGA of Ste-Martine. The challenge wasn’t easy with only a fraction of the team at the race to face teams like Garneau and Ekoi. Étienne Samson and David Fugère still tried everything during the race, coming back with a 16^th place.

On the 10 laps of the 10.5 kilometers circuit for a total of 104 kilometers, the guys were on the attack, trying to get in the good breakaway. Even if the race averaged an 43 km/h speed, there were many escape groups.

From the start Étienne entered a dangerous breakaway, unfortunately brought back a little after. The good one took off during the 4^th lap.

In the final, Étienne worked for his teammate to prepare the sprint. David did a good job, taking the 16^th place. Étienne followed closely after, both satisfied of their day.
